From my experience selling RE and building new homes your just not going to please everyone

You actually met the guy in person and saw his office/operations?

I think the best thing to do would be to find a good-hearted person with a lot of experience and pick their brain.

Do you have a developer/builder with experience that would partner with you? 

I ran into these gugys personally coming out of the GFC were money was really tough to raise..

Any experiences would be helpful.

I am broken record here on the forums - I highly suggest checking out as many in-person networking events as possible!  

I both personally invest in real estate and help others gets started/expand their portfolios in various Midwest/midsouth markets.What I do with my kids: My wife and I have 2 of our rentals that are on the same street, with a home in between them.

., so I would be interested to a) hear other BP members' lender recommendations for this sized property and also b) other members' experiences working with Fannie, Freddie, etc.
