We have spent years watching the markets we invest in and I feel that if we pause for even a few months we lose touch.

I am so far going to pause on what I am doing with prepaying the principal and when have more take-home income, I will resume adding to the mortgage.

As far as I know, DSCR HELOCs do not exist and most of the trustworthy outlets I'm also aware of put 2nd HELOANs (DSCR) on pause.

On the surface it looks like a solid rental but the things you mentioned give me cause for pause.

If you are turning over the unit, you can deduct the cleaning cost before advertising as the property was already in service with the previous tenant; the deductibility of expenses does not pause during a turnover.

These forums are littered with tales of distributions being paused and entire investments lost at various syndicators.

That is what gives me pause given use of limited resources.

Or will he give access for inspections but won't pause marketing for sale to others, meaning the money you pay for inspections is paid at your own risk, and he can sell to someone else before you even see the reports?
