I’m giving serious consideration to converting into a PadSplit.However, I have heard that Fort Worth (the city, Tarrant County, the faceless boogey man…) has issues with PadSplit whereas Dallas County is supportive.I would love to hear about your experiences between the two markets and if Fort Worth can be viable for PadSplit and anything I should be mindful of?

I will also be doing all the cosmetic things you can think of: paint, flooring, bathroom reno, kitchen reno, so I am open to carpenter or design suggestions.  

It’s clear that there’s an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience here, and I’m excited to continue learning and growing with this community.I’m looking to connect with members who are open to mentoring or collaborating on real estate deals, particularly in buy-and-hold strategies for single-family or multi-family properties.

There are definitely some solid strategies that work well here, depending on your goals.Are you leaning more toward a traditional STR, or are you open to rent-by-the-room or medium-term rental strategies?

The thoughts that are running through my mind being this close is creating a nightmare in my mind that needs to be calmed.   

But I am still shopping before making up my mind.

At one point I talked to my financially advisor and he said that it would be smart for me to open a HELOC on the property, but not draw from it, except in the case of emergencies.
