I'll throw in on this  (military keyword got me too)  Active AF currently flying a king-air in Thailand (and all over SE Asia) for the embassies in the area.  

Does anyone have an opinion on the condotels like The Grove Resort or Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk?

Have hit a major hurdle with lender and title company with notarising the docs by the US embassy.

It's possible but rare for my field of work (international relations in the Military) a substantial portion of us work at U.S. embassies abroad; I wonder if this qualifies as an exception to policy with the VA.
