It's not going to cause lung damage unless you sit there huffing it.If you have air ducts leave the circulation fan on the whole time, the ducts themselves keep a lot of smells.This is simply not true, output from ozone machines is dangerous and can cause severe lung damage.

Most systems now a days use a copper radiator that has fins connected to allow heat transfer and air flow.Steel radiators are known to leach out additional material into the water that is circulating.
