Real estate investing has been a passion of mine for time with my mother also having invested early on where I likely have gotten the love and desire to follow similar foot steps.I have taken last 6 months to educate myself and currently own a single family home as primary residence and would like to expand to multi family properties (2-4 units) for additional stream of income, not to mention potential tax benefits for long-term investing.Based on current living situation, I have a fair amount of equity established in my primary residency along with having enough cash to either pay off house completely or use towards investing in a multi family property.Given that I'm the sole source of income for our household with my wife being the home maker for our two kids under 2, trying to weigh out risks with getting started now or perhaps waiting.

Hey Isadore, Send the tenant a notice of non-payment and have the tenant go down to their local public housing authority office, HRA, or Department of Social Service office and provide them with the notice.

Many employers are seeing now as a great time to opportunistically buy or lease, usually downsizing, into new office spaces in the district during this period where there are still depressed prices, even on some Class A office spaces.The Resurgence of the Office Market in D.C.The resurgence of employers returning to the city with the pandemic fears now in the rearview mirror is apparent with Q4 of 2024 being the first quarter of positive leasing absorption for office space in the District over the last 10 quarters (Source) Another example is Boston Properties Group (NYSE: BXP), the largest publicly traded developer, owner, and manager of Class A Office space in the United States, is building a 320,000 square foot new trophy office in Downtown DC, with 5 floors already pre-leased to the global law firm McDermott Will & Emery as well as the Rockefeller Group developing a 422,000 square foot office building slated for delivery in 2026 at 600 Fifth St.NW, which is similarly 50% pre-leased (Source).
