I've done some comparables and it really looks good (a gem within the counties otherwise not-so-desirable offerings.

@Michael Janzer I personally invest in tertiary markets and to be honest, I have found some hidden gems that are cash cows.

When you live in a country like China or with a government that likes policies like those of recent Venezuelan vintage, fear of having your assets seized by the state is ever-present.

Adam Worth In apartment complexes, the presence of gas is really going to depend on the location and vintage of the property.  

On the flip side, if you jump through those said hoops, you can find better interest rates(VA and FHA), hidden gems and loopholes (house hacking). 

While my REALTOR was alright, the seller's agent was a gem.
