$800 is chicken feed compared to others that have lost thousands to tens of thousands on bad deals so if you decide to leave well enough alone and not take title on this property than you can count your lucky stars that you didn't lose much more.However you might want to do some more due diligence on this to see if this can be salvageable.

While I have some ownership in communities, these days it is mostly as a silent investor with someone else doing all the work, so I don't keep up on all the latest electronic marketing methods, and Craig's List is not being used in the communities I'm involved in because they are mostly 4-5 star communities.Now to the point.

You may be able to get 200-300 a night, but it's a risky endeavor especially in an area that is more or less "rural".I think you'd be better off selling the place and on the occasions you want to stay there, just check out VRBO or a 5 star hotel instead.Just some thoughts, I wish you luck either way!
