While some people won't be able to afford a vacation, many will, but will have to scale down and won't want to travel via plane/airport.

Maybe fence it off and make a garden.Feed you family free fresh fruit and vegetables (organic), sell the remainder on the roadside (pumpkins in October, melons and corn in the summer, peas, green beans, radishes, green onions, carrots, etc...).Sell from a trailer.Use the money for a family vacation.Teach the kids about business, pre-planing (planting hoe-ing gathering), and profits.Just my 2 cents.

It's like handing someone a plane, a tank of fuel, and a "Piloting for Dummies" book and wondering why they can't figure out how to fly a plane on their own. 

Airlines charge different prices for seats on the same plane but I wasn't sure how this would work with housing.

Certainly helps in my planing. 

It almost make the idea seem unrealistic unless one owns a small plane or doesn't have a typically job.  

I think it is a matter of specific planing on paper to present that has ever detail and contingency plans mapped out.
