I see a massive migration of investment money from Canada to US.

This is one of the biggest challenges with site migrations, is maintaining url structure (gets really messy when you're switching content management systems, but if you're going from wordpress to wordpress, it's very simple).

Based on the economic datas, I don't see much migration into the city, or jump in job growth in recent years.  

Birmingham and Montgomery have very minor population losses each year within the city limits, but much of this is in-migration to preferred suburbs. (-1.5% or so last I looked - but again consult the two resources I gave you above). 

Plain and simple.Happy Wife = Happy LifeAnd I'm not kidding about new families having a MAJOR impact on housing trends and migration. 

For example, an area with high job growth and population in-migration is perfect for this.

Have you considered migrating / consolidating from SFRs into larger MF apts since cash flow is a goal?
