How influential are electrical outlets and cable jacks for selling/renting units?

Today, we need much more electricity and most K/T systems are not up to the challenge.Hopefully you figured in the cost of service panel upgrade, total re-wire of circuits, outlets and switches, plus the reno/repair costs that will be required after the electricians finish beating holes in the walls and ceilings.We know it is a major chunk o' change, but after completion you will have a house that is safe and up to current code. 

Simple drywall, added insulation, updated electrical, added outlets, recessed lighting, mini split AC, new carpet, ect.... 

But rather than replace all the wiring swap out all the outlets and pigtail the ends of the aluminum wiring with copper wiring.

Just mount it right below where the lower outlet is and you won't know there's a hole there.

Trim bushes and shrubs, remove weeds, and plant some flowers for color.

Each room has exactly one overhead light bulb OR an electrical outlet. 

My friend suggested I convert the 2 prong outlets in my home to 3 prong outlets myself as a learning experience (there's probably 20 to 25 to do) for future real estate purchases.
