Reread the advice you get and when you find something you don't like ask yourself why you don't like it and be honest.

I dislike videos; too slow.With the written word I can skim along quickly 'till I see what I need and then slow down, re-read as needed, or even print out a hard-copy.

I even reread through it and found another page where it went into detail on it.

@Samuel Liapis maybe you should reread the first or two chapters of the book.

Frankly his hot book wasn't even that great - I'd read a Gary Keller book any day before I'd reread that.

Re-reading some of your concerns I realize that I have not addressed one of them, that you can't really afford to buy in NYC without leveraging up to kingdom come ... that is a very valid concern, since the only ones who really lose out long term in a market like NYC are those that can't make it to the long-term because they stretch too far and are forced to sell at the worst time or give it back to the bank.

@Juensy Pierre You should re-read the state law again. 

My two son in laws (20 somethings) gave me the bigger pockets investing in real estate book for my birthday in November, which I read immediately and am rereading now. 

Perhaps re-read what you wrote and make sure you didn't leave out any important details.....
