No one would think that investing in an IRA is some kind of scam thought up by financial planners to stick it to the common man, but sometimes life insurance can get that rap.

I know im getting scammed, type of thing. 

It was put in place to reduce the number of scams naive investors are exposed to.

That is, if you’re wiring to “Stewart Title,” don’t wire to “Stewart Smith” or to “Stewart’s Scamming Service.”

I'm sure when the ex Realtor sees a $150,000 sale she'll tell the lady she could have easily sold it for that instead of $170,000.But then she'll find out the poor old woman was scammed for $112,000 and you'll be talking to relatives or adult protective services.  

If they are lying the scam doesn't work but if they are having a brief trouble spot then the landlord can take the money when they get it before the Marshall comes out.The key is the tenant has to know you will not DELAY for any reason so their story doesn't matter.

Watch out for scams!

They have revamped to be a bigger play and they are now cracking down on the scams on their site with the Booking.com payouts feature.

@Stephen Blalock @Curt DavisThey are certainly one of those bulk buying out of state scamming gross companies. 

My lender said he thinks it is legit for me to get a check directly, but I'm wondering if anyone has done anything like this before, I really don't want to end up in jail for fraud :) If this is legit, I'm wondering what's stopping anyone from scamming the system.
