I have been to Singapore... and your description is right on.. we are staying at the millinum the one with the ship built on top of it.. and the longest infinity pool in the world and I think the highest off the ground  :)I could see living in Thailand for those that like the beachs and water.. its pretty great.. warm clear sand is like baking powder..

So if you can find 6 to 9 hours a month to do this, you're in fine shape.Your ink cost looks a little high....I cut mine by nearly half when I switched to Epson from Canon.
