I have a short amount of time, but I am essentially giving a brief breakdown of what most of the industry leaders would characterize as the basics.  

This idea comes up all the time but its shot down due to leaders not having the political courage, imo. 

If you want to get a taste, just call a KW office (called market center) and ask for an appointment with the team leader - they will be happy to meet with you and give you a much better idea about the business.

Here, I was mainly behind a computer for 10 hours a day for design work (with minor time out of the office for field work), and eventually moved on to work as a service engineer for a global leader in industrial equipment manufacturing.

The other part is working your way to being a thought leader.

@Charles O Peters It’s all about finding the right people and putting them in the right position then coaching them to success.As the leader it’s up to you to provide everyone in the organization everything they need to be successful, tools training systems and support but most importantly clear direction in no uncertain terms exactly what’s expected and when and then measure that performance and hold it accountable to the goals.It’s all about people, operations and then profit.

It seems like he's the main thought leader in this area.

In addition to that, I also feel as though I am the ring leader, putting together action steps, keeping us moving forward/getting clear on our goals, etc.
