It's so disheartening living in a state that has every conceivable industry, tens of thousands of acres of farmland that is blocked from use, and if it were a country could be one of the most wealthy in the world, yet the mismanagement by our state government for decades has cities rushing to file for bankruptcy.

In 2006 I bought a fire damaged house on my block and built a new house for my wife and future children.

There were three extremely broken down front steps going up to the porch- cracked concrete over block.

Usually I use the term stumbling blocks in the middle to refer to these individuals.

Oh, and the area the home is in is fairly decent..its in the inner-city..i havent actually went by the property, and i dont wanna label it as a war zone..cause here in st.louis..some parts of the city will be i quiet neighborhood, and 10 blocks over would be a war zone..help!!

I own a 5 unit plus a commercial on the same block & lot.I am behind on my payments Only 2 units are rented and the building is in need of some major masonry repairs & interior work.

The out of town company did a very good job of putting down a 2 inch overlay, hauled away all of the broken, junky-looking, cement parking blocks and put in all new parking blocks.

I imagine that downtown Chicago is like any other city with its workable areas and its war zones. in many areas just a few blocks can mean a big difference in maintenance and vacancy both can cause losses.

I won't go into operations or correspondent lending relationships or compliance, but loans are blocked and sold as well as purchased.
