There are a bunch of other mortgage stocks with a very similar story, IPO'd to much hype, standard pump-and-dump, current share price in the gutter, can't get much lower, sexy divvys, etc. 

All three of us were recent college graduates and while we did recognize the hype for what it was we were thinking that purchasing the management system would have been very similar to the MLM we were in.

It could go on for years or it might not.You are probably feeling the hype more in Cali than other places but that have to buy feeling went for years the last time.

Or is this Notes fund market is short- lived hype created by recent mortgage crisis and huge inventory?

Hey @Keivan Cross - I am with @Olivia Radziszewski, Chicago is one of the most overlooked markets due to the hype about crime, taxes, and landlord friendliness.  

It's funny seeing and hearing all the real estate hype about Detroit from across the country.

Once the cryptocurrency market lost its hype I realized it wasn’t for me.

@Ryan Fitzgerald : Raleigh is tough because there's a ton of hype surrounding it.  

These types will pool investors' money, give fractionalized interests, have no reserves and carry out risky deals with a smile, slap on the back,  a dash of hype on a promise.
