It is hard to nail down the rehab costs and the after repair value, especially as a beginner.

I also use a Dremel to do intricate cuts or sanding down to increase space in complicated areas.No glue or nailing required.Interlocking pieces just snap together.Typically cheaper than hard wood or bamboo.

ebay has been great for door hinges, bathroom and kitchen hardware, door knobs, tape, bulk screws and nails, etc.
