I carry anytime I'm in the neighborhoods, had carried for years without incident.

I received a letter from his lawyer outlining the details of the incident and accusing me of using my vehicle to intimidate his client and that any repeat would be followed up with legal action.

This incident though led me to wondering about what I can further do in my properties, to help mitigate this sort of thing to begin with.  

You don't want to contaminate it in any way because the police need to verify whether foul play was involved.Call 9-1-1 and report the incident.

Or you have an 'incident' like a 911 call that puts pressure on the owner. 

So I then took them proof of two different incidents, via actually things that were supposed to be swapped but weren't as well as video evidence.  

Yes it's an expensive lesson, yes it's frustrating  and yes it's really unfair, but take the positive from this incident and move forward.This could be a great opportunity to put a new procedure in place for your PM.Brian 

I have chatted with these guys a lot and they come from very hard places and will do anything to make it here like many of your fathers and grandfathers did.Funny side note.....after the incident with "Steve" I just went up and asked him how much it cost him to get the new SS card and license and he told me about a hundred bucks.

Still, the Texas Statute specifically states:  "The term (Electric Utility) does not apply to:    J) a person not otherwise an electric utility who:"furnishes an electric service ... only to ... tenants as an incident of ...tenancy, if that service .. is not resold to or used by others."

It sounds like these are isolated incidents and hopefully, they will stop coming around when you tell them off.
