About 4 hours after our arrival, we all walked into the small town for dinner. 

@Victor Saumarez  I had dinner at Longhi's last weekend.. place has sure gone down hill.

Good friend of mine is one of the top lobbyist in Oregon and represents the board of realtors and builders association.. we were at dinner last night and I asked him how the heck did this get passed.. the Public in this state just did not stand up.. the associations of course screamed but to no avail. so here we are with some really wild rent control measures.. 

I called up one investor and asked him if he wanted to have a fish dinner together.

The property is a winner-winner-chicken dinner and I can't shake the feeling that we're going to miss the window to bring it online for the upcoming season and it'll wind up selling for our $700 but to some other joker.

One couple I had dinner with owned 4 furniture stores in Ohio and I had no doubt that the 540k to them was a drop in the bucket.. they wanted to learn this stuff for their kids.. and I met many like that I did not really meet any poor people or one's that needed protecting like you want to do ..What you have with this lady is buyers remorse plain and simple she probably realized there is no way I can make money at RE with or without a mentor or training .. and she wants her money back.. she should have never put her money up in the first place.And US consumers should be much smarter.

Had dinner one night last week with another guy who has had rentals for about 15 years and naturally the topic turned to deadbeats and why it's not their fault that they don't have the rent.

Gas cards...restaurant dinners....hotel stays....bigger pockets books.....anything is appreciated.

Cross the border to have breakfast and lunch in Mexico then dinner in USA.
