Looking for real estate focused tax advisors for new investors, someone who will take time to explain and advise benefits, best practices and any areas of concern in real estate investing based on our current financial portfolio.  

My best advice for getting started is to learn to run your numbers thoroughly and then practice on potential properties that you see listed. 

I am a new investor as well and I am looking to meet new friends and find mentors in the DFW area to put my new knowledge to practice.
