Once I got over the idea of giving up my low rate, it made a ton of sense.In my opinion, letting the equity just sit there isn’t justified by holding onto a low rate.

For the most part I've always done the leg work on screens possible tenant. For the most part I've done pretty well. ( nothings guaranteed)I find it's time to let someone else do it. So I can free up some of my  time....

But definitely a good idea to look at what is going on with crime and other areas.

It’s my first time buying in this area, and I have a decent idea/expectation of what it’s all gonna cost overall to own the property. 

We're also considering the idea of doing short term during the summer season and mid term the remainder of the year.

I would call pms and ask them areas they would manage or go on someone websites where you can get an idea from their. 

Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas?
