They were specifically talking about student housing multifamily around the University of Arkansas which makes sense as I figure the closer the property is to campus and amenities the better in that situation.

I would like to invest in property and then rent them, however I am a student and I can not work, this makes it difficult for me to get a mortgage, becouse i don't have the right credentials.After a year of university attendance I can take the SSN for work, at that point I will have the right credentials, but I do not want to wait a year !!

To me, it looks like a good first starter cash flow property, but I would like to see ya'll's take on it.I found a 3br, 2 bath townhome for around $115,000 in Charlotte, NC area that would serve as a great family home/ potential home for graduate students near the university and the rent in the area off Zillow staets an average rent of $1300 dollars.
