They don't have the bandwidth to keep up.BP has remote team members in the Philippines or Mexico that review posts every day, bu they can't keep up.

If you feel the need to let them know you will be taking care of any outstanding maintenance requests, that may be positive news for themGino

But a mortgage that is paid in full each month will never be reviewed.  

Like you said, put the proper protections in place but know that you can still lose your money - unless you are in first position.

It would be helpful to learn how one lands the jobs that come up in this forum and how much entry level positions pay.It sounds like you are focused on leaving a legacy which is amazing.

I heard that phrase a while back (I think it was a BP podcast) and it stuck with me.This has been a long time coming, but my wife & I finally worked ourselves to a position to make that decision. 

Just like a junior mortgage, the senior gets priority and remaining balance would then go down the order of priority.hope this makes sense.Note; I recommend reviewing this with an attorney as well as I am not one. 

I will likely review my experience here in the future.
