It is the markets perception of how much you could   POSSIBLY make. 

We naturally apply our own paradigm as a filter to our perceptions. 

I usually don't frequent this sub-forum to debate over peoples perceptions of attitudes.

A lot of people have very skewed perceptions of history (and even current realty) based on what they want to believe and how they were indoctrinated as children...

Our perceptions are limited by our own understanding and that understanding is in it's infancy.I recommend to everyone to read the book "Biocentrism" if you want to come as close to understanding why things are the way they are.

For you to bash someone's perception shows that clearly the "moderator" has his own agenda.

I was not referring about the outside perceptions of real estate investing and whether it is in or not, but whether or not an individual still has the determination and drive and still gets fulfillment from investing.
