I was in the process of purchasing a house from a seller that inherited the house from her mother.

Ask the law firm what the penalties are and how much they accrue each month.My guess is mother became sick and went into a nursing home and the home got her accepted by Medicare which then required her to list her assets, and Medicare then put a lien on the house.

Or, you might also consider finding something with a mother-in-law as well - that is what I have done, and it's worked out great.Good luck in your search and stay connected.

So PLEASE spare me all that wholesaling hate when you are simply not educated of what wholesaling is and what it can do for sellers.We helped one mother's sick child once as they needed funding for a medical procedure.

As a matter of fact my mother still lives on the DC side and because its pretty much surrounded by Seat Pleasant and District Heights its not the most desirable neighborhood.
