Hello all! Just started learning about the tax and legal benefits of RE investing. Looking to network with local investors to understand about market opportunities and strategies .

I live in the NYC area, and I am looking for houses in Queens/Brooklyn/and Long Island.

I've considered getting my license or getting into wholesaling but due to the costs of living on Long Island and the fact that my professional and social networks are entirely NYC-based, I'll likely be moving to a new market within the year.Do any other younger investors out there have any stories/tips they could share as to how they got the ball rolling?

The 3 largest that service most of the park have been completely overhauled...tanks, drain fields and all.

As far as duplexes, there are a few of them available in West Ashley from time to time but the bulk of multi-family investments are in Downtown (29401, 29403, 29405) Ladson (29456), North Charleston (29405, 29406, 29485 and 29420)  for condos/townhomes I like James Island (29412) old Mt Pleasant (29464) Summerville and Goose Creek.
