There are markets that are better for achieving different types of investment goals (ex. cash flow vs appreciation, or a mix)...Looking for a cash flowing deal in a high-priced market is much more difficult....like beating a dead horse.

Don't want to beat a dead horse as it has already been mentioned but putting money that you'll need relatively soon into stocks is generally not recommended.

The allure of that area is that you can buy large parcel of land, stick a double-wide on it, raise some cows or horses and be secluded from the world.

Just adding a thought (perhaps this is cart before the horse here) but I wondering if it is possible to brand a local meetup as a "biggerpockets" meetup? 

Send me back to to horse and buggy times and I'll still be ok. 

I would not change horses midstream.
