I would think the insurance company would make an exception to that Dec 21 date if they had something like this from an actual painter.

Also make sure you pick a brand that's going to be around I use beher from home-depot but sherman williams prob be fine... the main point here is so that you can buy in bulk and store it properly so when a turn over comes up you just grab it and go and you can match the old stuff on the walls... then you can just paint or ( have the painter)  roll out the blemishes and in SOME cases not even have them cut in get a discount lol I know this sounds cheap but when you find the right colors no one notices. hope this helps !

Now Memorial Day is pretty close but 2 weeks ago I feared the painter was going to be the long item on our rehab but he will not be.He did a job for me years ago and just finished a wall and the entire paint that he was applying to just peeled from the wall. 

In the end I had the painters spray it white again.

I am remote (Miami, about 4 hrs drive) so I am trying to get all the ducks in a row before I start all the work.I already have - Painter- AC guy- Garage door guy- Carpet guyI need a carpenter to replace some wood trims.If anyone knows someone you trust, please refer them to me.

I was a apprentice painter once but hated it... also sold fuller brush's door to door.. pumped gas , bagged groceries... etc etc.. but I found my calling in Real estate sales and I rather like that and finance and building..

Go to Sherman Williams and ask them for painters/handyman contacts I met my contractor this way got several names and found a great one.

This is now a tomorrow issue, and hopefully it will get resolved as we're starting sheetrock on the first floor tomorrow.We also got some additional bids today:- Interior Paint (Labor and Materials): $5400- Exterior Paint (Labor and Materials): $2700- Trim/Carpentry Materials: $3000- Trim/Carpentry Labor - $3150The interior paint bid seems high to us ($2 per living space square foot), but we've been using this painter for 5 years and he swears that this is his standard price for new construction, as there's a lot of extra cost (caulking, priming, extra touch-ups after sheetrock touch-ups, etc).Also, I had originally estimated finish carpentry/trim and interior doors to be about $13,000.

Does anybody know any local painters who don't spend half the workday smoking and the other half in the bathroom?
