If they are an assistant and preparing the paperwork then yes they owe you all of those things and therefore are guilty as charged and should be shot and their corpse drug through the mud.

Inspections were passed for Footers / Slabs, Rough Elec, Rough Mechanical, Lintel and Frame in 1998 but Final Elec, Final Mechanical etc have not been.In case it's of interest, the house is complete up to rough electrical and plumbing and drywall is up but not tapped / mud etc.My concerns are that I'll need to invest way more than I've budgeted for professional services (Architect... maybe attorneys etc ) in order to get re-permitted since it's been 18 years since the process was started.I've already paid a visit to the City building department and am awaiting a call back... just wanted to know if any of you had any words of wisdom.Thanks!

Owners trying to rehab themselves often don't know little tricks such as adding a spoonful of dish soap to their mud to help eliminate air bubbles (and thereby, an additional coat), or that the process of coalescence in exterior paint is negatively affected by an ambient and/ or surface temperature below 50 degrees.Being from Cleveland, unfortunately I can't much help with the Milwaukee area.

My advice is not to get too aggressive with your rent increases -- vacancy and turnover costs are highly undesirable in a higher end rental.Best of luck!
