Thanks so much.my plan is absolutely to start smaller using the tips others have told me about —and to leverage my personal relationships in those companies to build trust over time (to be ready!).

There are a lot of in-person real estate investor meetups in Northern New Jersey and other parts that you can find in the Events and Meetups section of these forums.

Personally at the spot I am in now I would probably pay cash, as I don't like debt and interest rates aren't that low. 

We aren't even implementing what we learned because we are too busy dealing with a personal issue and haven't been able to travel much for the last couple of years.

I’d personally prefer the one opposite the beach as I think the other lots are too far but I haven’t made a study on hotel clients.

Unfortunately, those are treated as personal expenses and aren’t deductible.As for the repairs and improvements, fixing leaky pipes counts as a repair and can be fully expensed in the current year.

I have not partnered with any of them bc I view partnerships as a last resort - just a personal preference.

i bet i know the answer but are you changing your own personal strategy based on any of this?

If there are no boarding house limitation to the number of unrelated persons, does this structuring matter?
