Is that work the carpenter or the painter?  

There's so much competition that you'll hear from buyers over and over "Sorry - I just found out that my mother's babysitter has a dog walker whose 2nd cousin's house painter has a 3rd cousin that's a Realtor. 

I do have a professional painter on payroll so painting works out to be an especially cost effective solution for me.

I have 3-4 contractors to call per area of rehab, painters, plumbers, electricians, carpenters etc.

They clearly were looking to save on the $4000 down payment and keep a 90% completed job; and maybe have a couple painters in to do the finishing touches.

I've been trying to find a general contractor and painter in Urbana-Champaign, IL but appointments I've scheduled have either been canceled or the person didn't show up.

In addition to the above, we also stagger contractors... so if the lawn guy is going to be there one day, we make sure the painter is another.  

More recently, I’ve been acting in the role of property manager for my dad (certainly with a little bit of painter/ laborer mixed in too).I have a true passion for the industry and I certainly intend to pursue my passion for the financial rewards, but even more so because I genuinely enjoy it and want to make a career out of it.
