The new state law that went into affect this year allows for 1 ADU and 1 Junior ADU.

Seems like everyone knows something and has a story.Most people don't redeem, but I can almost guarantee that if you do a full nice reno, the word gets out and junior, who hasn't paid the taxes for 10 years, now has miraculously found the money and their 50% penalty....or they find a lawyer to challenge the sale saying they weren't property notified.   

This would also help you control how Much of a construction loan you would be junior to and at what terms….more control.

Additionally, with every mid-high ranking officer come the junior officers to take care of them who have a much smaller salary and are always looking to save a buck.
