Next, and again my current experience is in a different industry but one that's a highly dependent on Google reviews and ratings, I've found that there's always a break-even point where "paying someone off" doesn't provide enough of a return on the payoff. 

Even on a high interest rate environment  the market has been climbing.

Raleigh's current market isn’t known for many off-market deals in high-appreciating areas, as sellers here know they can still get top dollar by listing.

I am very concerned about so many investors being presented with questionable marketing practices and charging such high prices for information.

BiggerPockets also has a calculator to analyze deals, and I highly recommend you start this as soon as possible, even if you are not ready to buy.

Bob is very good on the customer support and that being said... they are the only company other than myself that I have invested with  basically EVER... as I do my own deals.But I had money stacking up in my SDRA and of course I can't self deal.. so I chose one of his new investments which is more akin to what I like.. quicker turn and high IRR...

If it's a horrible, very high crime area (and that is also relative) and you will never manage any part, in that instance I say run.

I think it will also high effect search engine rankings. 

Finding handymen is NEVER easy:( Often, you have to use trial & error method and weed through several before finding one that is acceptably (never pefect) reliable, quality, will fix warranty issues and has decent prices.Try visiting a Home Depot 6-8am on a Saturday.
