She took care of her mother and her husband passed away back in the 80s.My sisters nanny knew her pretty well...but I felt weird trying to "pump" Information from her about my neighbor.She seems willing to talk though, so I'll ask her more questions.This did have me thinking about another situation.I have an elderly uncle who owns his home, I do know he has children but they are never around...my aunt...his wife passed away some years back and he lives alone.I know he lives fairly well...but I wondered if it would be offensive to offer to buy his home and pay him monthly for it.

I recently had a person and her two elderly parents that wanted to move in together.

So I live in New Orleans and my mother is elderly 76 y/o and as alot of ppl her age she's on a fixed income.

He specifically mentioned elder care, etc.Of course we are not planning to do such things in the near future but who knows about later on.

Mostly left in original condition by elderly seller, have remodeled basement, kitchen, bathrooms and rear house.

Elderly tenant lives with son and is helping pay the lease with social security etc in Texas any insights what landlord obligations are if this were to happen and lease still has several months on it?

My elderly mother lives in the upstairs unit so she is onsite but can't just barge into the downstairs unit and doesn't have much of a relationship with them.What are our rights to check in on this?

If you try to keep the deposit, you could find yourself in front of a judge with the tenant claiming they were pet sitting for an elderly sick relative.

I also would never install one of these detachable showerheads in a rental unless it was required by an elderly/handicapped tenant.
