If this is where you research your next flip, do all the accounting for the flip and then work to sell it AND YOU DO PRETTY MUCH NOTHING ELSE IN THE ROOM, then you would be able to deduct the home office.If, however, you also use that room to research stock purchases, play video games, work on hobbies, watch movies or generally mess around with every other activity in your life, then this would not qualify for the home office deduction.

The contractors that typically charge more should have the followinga) brick and mortar building where they are locatedb) company vehicles that arent old pieces of crapc) proper website, phone number that someone always answers, responds to emails each day or soonerd) has a proper printed invoice/quote for all work6) one thing that will irritate the crap out of you is, they ALL want to come out and lay hands and eyes on the project before they quote no matter how simple or difficult the work is and it doesn't matter if you send them a 4k video that been shot and produced by a world class movie producer.

It seems doesn't matter if the cuprit reload the same movie or whatever, the same can count a 2nd, 3rd, etc time just as well as a separate infraction.The first few times were just emails, the 3rd was freeze then slow down speed when restored, and now they froze it and when I called in to restore, they wouldn't til explained to the Copyright claims dept(?)
