Is it "by guess & by gollie" or did you involve someone with experience in these matters?

From that experience, I got the idea of just building a multifamily (ideally a quadruplex) from the ground up as my next home to house hack in.I've done some preliminary research and had some questions if any experts care to chime in:+ There aren't many multifamily zoned lots in metro Atlanta.

@Sebastian AlborsIn my experience, buying a single-family home (SFH) in Asheville and house hacking with a family member like your brother can be a smart way to balance costs.

After a bit more research, I actually think renting a place will get me started faster and earn some experience doing Airbnb with a little less risk involved.Obviously I still need to be concerned about not violating a lease agreement by doing so and I would likely live on the property and lot or all the time.Ownership is still the ultimate goal, but this looks a faster party to self driven income.

I want to learn how to do this the right way, without coming across as overly focused on profits.If you have any tips or experiences to share, I’d be incredibly grateful.

Id like to get in the market and learn more as i go through experience.

So from my experience, I’m planning on keeping all the houses that I’ve had a lot of cap ex on.

my experience in SC which is basically limited to building about 35 new builds in Charleston market and funding a few flippers up by Augusta and a few flips in N.
