It's helpful to have multiple lenders in any event.

I committed to going to a few real estate events a few years back and made a point to have casual conversations with 1-2 people per event and from there, I could feel the metaphorical snowball begin to roll down the hill. 

I haven't officially joined the NCREIA yet but I am going to a real estate investing workshop later this month in Durham so hoping to connect with a lot of people that weekend and will probably officially join and start going to more events.

REIA meetings and events are a great place to meet individuals with experience in the local market so yes, I highly suggest that you join them specially since your learning REI.

These types of properties tend to receive more damage so in the event that durable products and methods are still not enough these properties need to be easy to fix and turn.
