Just curious as I have no idea who they are so I can’t comment on them but wanted to check in to make sure people do more than just a google review and have done thorough research.Great post earlier today about the dos and fonts an investor had and lessons learned.

Also, check if there are a lot of similar properties available; if there’s more competition, it could be harder to stand out. 

I always check 1sale.com when I need something like a replacement TV. 

With low inventory around the country, check the absorption rate in your town.

Check out Meetup.com or local Facebook groups to find like-minded individuals, you never know who you'll meet, or who they'll connect you to!

Check the FEMA maps first and foremost.

Is there a place to check what the house is actually valued at or is it that I have to do an appraisal to get the value?

- I would have regular check-ins to make sure the property is being cared for and not destroyed.

You might check with smaller outfits too like Co/Lab lending, Preferred Mortgage, Aceland Mortgage, and co-ops/credit unions.

However neither person is local , they both have filled out applications and seem to check out , but both have "Not for Real ID" IDs which seems like a red flag to me.
