We obviously do not want our daughter strapped with $200K+ in student loans either. 

I also give a move in gift and that's about it.My move in gift is usually a new door mat, a basket of fruits, a set of scented candles, female tenants get a dozen of giant sunflowers by the window.

I may try laundry mats and all that tommorrow morning as my next step I am running out of ideas.

And also look at outdoor mats, indoor mats and rugs, etc.

There are probably a lot of cash strapped partners trying to cash out of their investment interests right now.

This will probably be a profitable trend that continues and expands in other directions for increasingly revenue-strapped government entities.After all, LLs are 'big fat rich' targets who cannot easily walk away, and who generate zero sympathy from the voting class.

You can get a few hundred business cards printed up for $20 or less, with your contact info and even some brief bullet points of what you do, then leave a few at bus stops, laundry mats, barber shops, hand them out when networking, leave them at the door or mailbox of the houses you've noted when driving for dollars, etc... same with postcards.  

I really feel bad for some of these folks who got themselves strapped.

Seems like guests would not be opening and closing it between uses (especially a true pool safe cover with straps) so I don’t see any real added protection there.
