- Does the place have popcorn ceilings (8th picture, there is some texture on the ceiling) - Your hardwoods look god awful, like they need to be refinished, plus wood paneling -- yuck. (13th picture) - Probably one of the most dated kitchens I've ever seen (14th picture) - What appears to be a leak of some kind in the kitchen, top right (15th picture) - Drop ceiling...yuck (16th picture) - No pictures of bathrooms, but I bet they're a disaster.So lets recap -- this place needs a ton of work.

Problems:1) The sheetrock guy sprayed texture all over the stairs because he didn't cover them.

I have explored moving out of the area but with my career and family planted here that isn’t really an option.

If you are just planting long term nest eggs not a bad idea to leave it be.

Although he has to to the mudding and texturing, so I’m still coming out ahead on that deal. :)It’s a small town so we don’t have markets but I would say for our town it is now in the B plus to A market of available homes for sale.

The Elliott Company is building a new facility at the old glass plant site which should help the downtown area.
