Before you purchase a property, I would suggest going to your bank and applying for an increase in your credit card and line of credit limits (don't use them, just have more space available).

It is like a credit card in that, if you have a zero balance then it does not count against you.

Key bank's rate scares me that it is almost at a rate of a credit card and i assume it is variable and also assume rates will go up.I am not really looking for other financing options other than this for my first deal. any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I would treat it as if your adding an authorized user to your personal credit card.
