If the electrical wiring looks okay, I might not rewire, but I will definitely pay to replace all the outlets and sometimes the light fixtures.

That is not a bad thing, but you will need to work harder to find something with a little meat on the bone.Another option is to work through a reputable wholesaler and find something "lightly distressed"....more of a cosmetic rehab.

I got a package of lunch bags, opened 4-5 and inserted a sheet of lightly crumpled newspaper in each, squeezed the openings and tied them closed with a long string, and hung the bulbous bags in the areas the wasps were planning to build.
