Eventually we want to rent the current residence out and upgrade so I haven't wanted a high mortgage on it. 

It worked out and we eventually turned it over when we had enough owners.I met with a representative of the largest rental company.  

I'd eventually like to rent it out and buy another house to do the same thing. 

Eventually go for buy and hold..learnt bout this group from one of the members here.

However, one of the many reasons I would like to invest in RE by flipping houses is to eventually quit my job and wholesaling is a whole other job and a major hustle. 

We tell them the only thing we can guarantee is that eventually there WILL be an eviction.

My ultimate goal is to invest full time and eventually expand to other areas of investing.

Hey there so I am a 22year old looking to eventually dive into the real estate industry, with so many different types of real estate investments opportunities out there from single family, to duplexes, apartment buildings, ect. i just want to get some feedback and advice before i jump in the industry, so what type of property was your first property that you obtained?

In the long term, I would like to eventually transition into owning both SFRs as well as multi-family properties.  

Because this house will eventually become the tenants, all maintenance cost will be pushed onto the tenant.
