Emphasis on the "Real".

For example, if it is only in your name, I don't think he can claim it a primary residence.I will emphasis again that getting advice from the non-professionals on BP is good for education but absolutely NOT a basis to make final decisions.

In most cases, there is more work in buying investment homes and considering the commissions are likely to be smaller, a Realtor could (strong emphasis on could) be motivated to get a deal closed without the investors best interest. 

So, I dropped down to a BS in Building construction and contracting with an emphasis in structural engineering.

I’d suggest going for something like property management, finance, or even finance with emphasis in real estate.  

I can wait to get paid, or give money back to hold because I am super confident that my company does good work and I always tell my customers, in a joking way, that I don't worry about getting paid because my company does such good work my customers will feel guilty for the rest of their life if they don't pay me.I don't like to do business with contractors who put a huge emphasis on getting paid up front so they can purchase materials for the job.

My big takeaway was to put emphasis on learning about the numbers.

I will put more emphasis on this type of deal finder.
