LaCrosse seems to have a slightly more diverse workforce (major employers KwikTrip corporate, Trane Systems, Century Link and Gundersen Health).  

This South Carolina city has held a thriving housing market for longer than a century and is constantly learning to combine history with modern appeal.

Half a century ago, a child would have a roughly 50% chance of making it from 0 to 18 with married parents.

The Lee-Miles area aka the Lee-Harvard area has a lot of mid 20th century built colonials and bungalows and the area remains heavily owner-occupied.
