As someone mentioned above Argus is a very advantageous tool to learn.While networking is important what's even more so is becoming a real estate strategist, and learning the ins and outs of real estate in all facets (acquisition/disposition, construction management, lease negotiation, property management, lease administration, etc.).If you're analytical, that's a huge plus.

In our experience, the commercial lending practices of the Big-5 (Schedule 1) banks have had no appetite for deals under $1M.While the point about commercial lending being based upon the business and not the individual, may be attractive for small properties (and essential for larger ones), commercial lending is more expensive (originating (legal, administrative) costs, lending rates (unless CHMC insured)), than residential.

If she doesn't want the parcels sold she'll have to talk to an attorney and file her own Petition for Probate and file for Letters of Administration since there is no will, for her to legally claim ownership.The attorney you spoke with misinformed you @Henry Marshall The attorney's responsibility is to the executor/administrator or the Personal Representative.The Personal Representative represents the interest of the estate.
