The underwriter is stating that even though there is one mortgage attached to 5 parcels or 8 parcels, it is still looked at as all properties being financed and it exceeds the 10 property financing rule. 

Price/mortgage/expenses/likely rent/etc....I am sure you will get gobs of help :) Asking price is $219,000 Est taxes are $1300/yr mortgage with insurance roughly $1300/mo Rent for 2 bed 1 bath (what the attached cottage is)  in the area is avg $950/mo on the low endIt has deeded shared beach access to 2 lakes.

I understand the attachment, and going from an owner to a renter can feel like a step down, but a lot of times it is simply the wisest move for your  future financial position.

It was a 1241 sq. ft. 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with office area, fireplace and attached 2 car garage.

It is a 5 bed 3 bath, 3100 sq ft home on nearly 1 acre, 1/4 unfinished basement 3/4 crawl, 2 car attached garage.

I have attached a copy of my proof of funds as well as a pre approval letter.

Yes it is a Multi Family house Hack I live in the main part of the house they live in a attached apartment. 

The garage is attached through a staircase and door to one of the upstairs apartments...but the electrical for the garage is not wired through that apartment's meter.All water is common.
