My realtor agent mentioned that we could look into mid term rentals for traveling nurses, corporate housing etc and make close to double what we would get in a LTR.This is our first property, do we play it safe and do LTR or do we take the leap and rent it out to traveling nurses, corporate travel.

I reinvested proceeds from the rent collected from the first tenant, to spruce up the second bedroom (I call it the nature room) I added a full length body mirror, study desk, a few various wall decors, updated the listing pics (didn’t get to put in service the new comforter and pillows, since I’m still waiting on them to be delivered) changed two small details in my outreach marketing message, and it made all the difference in response rate from the female demographic; since the majority of travel nurses are females, I realized they would not feel safe/confident in booking from, who they presume, is a single male, so I included a profile picture of my gf and I.

It is technically your resident as far financing concern so you should be able to buy it with 3.5 percent.I would say upper fells point would be nice as as well, also right around hospital gets a lot of travelling nurses tenants, so you can rent to nurses and be there 3-4 night a week.Canton etc... could get young professionals and I rather nurses they are way more quiet and clean at home.Let me know if you have more questions since I have a multi in upper fells and have been renting to hopkins crowd.
