Having developed a majority of my career in CA the regulations and red tape for construction and development are intense. 

I've bought a ton of homes pre-foreclosure and at auction, happy to be a resource on that stuff, plus we just launched Bid Pirate, which is the one place online for NH, where you can see all the upcoming foreclosure auctions in one spot - you can learn a lot from the regulars at the auctions........ get after it, sister!

For the next billing cycle they increased my charges by $500 and did not notify me of the upcoming charge.

@Lisa Marie I just saw this after looking up comments on Dallas REIAs.  

It is a tricky time to purchase there not knowing how the upcoming regulations may shake out. 

I call them in-between because they are conferences, so not like your local meetups, but they are not truly "industry" conferences like NMHC, where you will meet primarily career, corporate multi-family people.Bigger Pockets Conference and Best Ever Conference are two that likely would cater to people more in your position.  

I give you kudos for thinking about this early on in your investing career.

Btw, I learned about this from a book about the career of Harold Helmsley (pre Leona!)
